We’re currently seeking talented and dedicated violin, viola, cello and piano players in the Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina area to join our growing team! Position Details

This is a contract-based position, offering flexibility to perform and engage with our community on your own terms. In 2024, our musicians earned an average of $441.66 per performance. For 2025, our musicians earned an average of $451.66 per performance. We seek professional musicians with formal training and experience and believe that your time and talent deserve fair compensation.

Arrangers/Composers (Remote)

Why Arrange With Us?

Collaborative Work: Work closely with a growing team of professional musicians to create arrangements that are used in real-world performances.

Creative Impact: Your arrangements will directly support performances at weddings, private events, and community concerts.

Flexible Opportunities: This is a contract-based role with project-based work offered as needs arise.

What We’re Looking For

Musical Understanding: A strong understanding of string instruments and piano, including violin, viola, cello, and piano, with awareness of their capabilities and limitations.

Practical Writing: Arrangements that are easy to read, clearly notated, and efficient (ex. Easy page turns) for musicians to rehearse and perform.

Ensemble Experience: Experience writing for string ensembles such as duets, trios, quartets, or mixed ensembles (including piano and violin). While piano is not required, experience writing for piano is a plus.

Collaboration & Flexibility: Openness to feedback and a willingness to revise or adapt arrangements to meet performance needs.
